Tobacco use disorder (TUD), the leading cause of preventable deaths in the pacts those with psychiatric disorders. There are multiple first-line, U.S. Food pharmacotherapy options for the treatment of TUD. The current review focuses on these medications, underlining practical tips to improve cessation rates, while emphasizing a harm reduction and patient-centered approach Nursing and Mental Health Services, 61(11), 6-9.]
