摘要
The paper presents selected results of comparative analysis of prototype synchronous motors with permanent magnets intended for multi-channel power supply. This types of motors are used where high reliability and safety are required -the so-called critical drives. Two designs with different method of making the stator winding were analyzed. The first prototype had a winding with a full pitch, while the second one had a winding with a fractional pitch. Both constructions with the same rotor (surface mounted magnets -SPM) allow to introduce some internal asymmetry (electrical and magnetic) in one of the motor channel. The tests included a few options of power supply -respectively: one, two and four channels in the conditions of symmetry and internal asymmetry simulated in channel A. Selected waveforms of currents and voltages have been shown. The mechanical characteristics of both motors were compared, taking into account multi-channel operation and selected cases of internal asymmetry.
