摘要
In the present investigation, BaO effect is studied on the crystallization kinetics of (40-x)SrO-xBaO-45SiO(2)-10B(2)O(3)-ZrO2 (x = 0, 10, 20, 30, 40 mol %) glasses. To understand the crystallization mechanics, activation energy are calculated using two different approaches, i.e., Kissinger model and Augis and Bennett model. Furthermore, kinetic parameters such as fluctuation free volume (f(g)), Avrami parameter (n) and fragility index (F) are also evaluated for all the glass samples. The replacement of SrO by BaO reduces phase separation in glasses and decrease the devitrification of glasses. The highest and lowest activation energies for crystallization is observed for SB-0 and SB-40 glasses. Based on all the thermal parameters, SB-30 glass could be used as glass sealant in SOFC.
