Synthesis of a novel magnetic CuFe2O4/zeolite composite catalyst and its catalytic oxidation performance

摘要
A new magnetic CuFe2O4/zeolite (CFZ) catalyst was synthesized via a simple hydrothermal method. Characterization results suggest that CuFe2O4 and the zeolite are compounded together. CFZ has a specific surface area of 149.2 m2/g, indicating that CFZ has a porous structure. The removal rate of methyl orange in the CFZ/PMS system could reach 97.3%, showing the excellent catalytic oxidation performance of CFZ. After 5 cycles, the degradation efficiency declined by only 1.6%. In the catalytic degradation process, O2 & BULL; and 1O2 are the main reactive oxygen species.
