摘要
Battery discharge regulator is one of the core modules of the power conditioning unit with fully regulated power bus. During the eclipse and any high-power demand which solar array cannot meets, battery discharge regulators play a vital role. This paper provides a detailed description of the design and test results of the 1.5kW Battery Discharge Regulator (BDR) with higher than %95 efficiency based on non-isolated Weinberg Topology which is designed for the high-power Communication Satellite that will operate in Geostationary Orbit (GEO). Additionally, the maximum output power limitation, input over current protection (OCP), output over voltage protection (OVP) and autonomous enable function against main bus under voltage functions of the design are also presented in this paper.
