摘要
Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) mounted Base Stations (UAV-BSs) have been widely used to enhance communication coverage for ground user devices (UDs) due to their intrinsic nature of flying. In this paper, we study the deployment of UAV-BSs for on-demand full communication coverage problem. Firstly, we give the scenario model together with communication model and coverage model. Secondly, we formulate full communication coverage problem considering network robustness and QoS provided. Thirdly, to address this problem, we propose two UAV deployment algorithms to minimize the number of UAVs while achieving on -demand full coverage. Particularly, these two UAV deployment algorithms only differ in building/updating service connections. Finally, simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of our proposed algorithms.
