摘要
This paper presents Martin Buber's unpublished manuscript 'Fragen und Antworten. Die judische Besiedlung Palastinas' in the original German with English translation and contextualizes it within the main stations of Buber's Zionist thinking: cultural Zionism, religious Zionism, and Zionism of realization. It problematizes Buber's reflection on Jewish settlements in Palestine with reference to the significance of Zionism for humanity as well as the possibility of reconciliation between Jews and Arabs in the Middle East. It also addresses the problem of Jewish terror, framing it in correlation with the restrictions on Jewish migration to Palestine and the catastrophe of the Shoah.
