摘要
The purpose of this study was to explore the preparedness of EFL teachers for emergency distance learning in Taiwanese secondary schools. The correlation between teachers' technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) and teaching presence (TP) were also examined. Data were collected using survey questionnaires and semi-structured interviews, and analyzed using descriptive analysis and Pearson Correlation Coefficient. The results indicated that teachers possessed a high level of both TPACK and TP, and these factors were positively correlated. However, teachers expressed concerns about emergency distance learning, particularly regarding insufficient time, training, and classroom control. This study provides sufficient evidence and implications for teaching practice, curriculum design and future research directions.
