摘要
Bamboo has potential for building structures, but the mechanism of flattened bamboo boards (FBs) is unclear, which is not conducive to FBs to manufacture large-size structure materials. This paper compares the bonding of FBs and bamboo strips, and studies the bending of FBs laminated in different ways. Results show that FBs produces cracks favorable for adhesive penetration. The assembly method affects the bonding performance of notched FBs. The residual stresses influence the form of bending damage of laminated FB. FBs exhibited fine bonding strength (2.9-3.4 MPa) and excellent flexural strength (up to 141.2 MPa) after lamination.
