摘要
Technical universities play an important role in the education and development of the next generation of entrepreneurs. This is evident in numerous studies in which universities are named as important promoters between actors in entrepreneurial ecosystems. In addition to their teaching and research mission, entrepreneurial universities also pursue a third mission in the form of diverse support for entrepreneurial activities. Entrepreneurship education goes beyond classic pedagogical approaches. The training rather dealswith approaches, such as problem-based or project-based learning that teach teamwork, problemsolving behaviour or product development, and additionally encompasses innovation skills, iterative experimentation aswell as dealingwith the risk of failure. This paper analyses volunteer student teams who participate in student teams alongside their studies. The experience gained in product development within a team of peers and the competition experience gained during international and national challenges are very valuable for shaping an entrepreneurial mindset and for later professional life.
