摘要
The '' Spanish society ' s opinion and attitude regarding adoption, foster care and surrogacy '' survey is the first to use a representative sample (n = 3752) to explore the sociological factors determining Spanish society ' s opinion and attitude on surrogacy, a controversial assisted reproductive technology. The results suggest that 58 % of the Spanish population believe that a regulatory law should be passed and 53 % state that they would use surrogacy in the event of infertility. Homosexuals are 280 % and 270 % more likely than heterosexuals to accept surrogacy for themselves and to support specific laws on the same, respectively.
