摘要
The present study provides a comparison between four acid digestion techniques and the control procedure for Po-210 determinations by alpha spectrometry on peat bog samples. The results on 210Po activities indicate that method I yielded results similar to the reference values with a positive variance of 0.5%, while method II had a significant positive deviation of 2.1%. Methods III and IV had negative deviations from the reference value. The results suggest that method II reduces the digestion time by 94%, while providing similar 210Po activity results and Po-209 yield to the control method, being more suitable for fast determinations.
