Investigation on the electrical and magnetic properties of PVDF/SrFe12O19 composite membranes

摘要
We obtained a magnetoelectric composite membranes by adding different weights of filler SrFe12O19 (SFO) to polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) studies have shown that the SFO content has a significant role in controlling the phase composition of PVDF in the composite membranes. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) shows that when the content of SFO exceeds a certain value, the quality of the composite film would be impaired and wrinkled. The polarization hysteresis (P -E) loops and the magnetic hysteresis (M -H) loops show that the composite membranes has both ferroelectric and ferrimagnetic, and the method of improving the magnetic properties and ferroelectric fi phase of the composite membranes is obtained by changing the ferroelectric parameters and ferromagnetic parameters. Kelvin probe force microscopy (KPFM) studies have shown that the application of a dc magnetic field can reduce the potential of the composite membrane. Piezoelectric force microscopy (PFM) investigations show that there are switchable ferroelectric domains in the composite membrane, and piezoelectric response will be generated under a small voltage excitation.
