摘要
The present research investigated the influence of different stress relief annealing (SRA) temperatures on the microstructure and magnetic properties of an NGO electrical steel. Epstein samples sheared on the rolling and transverse directions (RD, TD) were submitted to heat treatments at temperatures from 643 to 832 degrees C in a protective atmosphere. The magnetic properties on the 100 %RD, 100 %TD and 50 %RD + 50 %TD (standard) were measured before and after SRA. The results showed that temperature plays an important role in reducing the magnetic anisotropy between RD and TD in low and medium frequencies. Core loss variation on the RD and TD after SRA presented distinct behavior. The improvement in the average loss values due to stress relief comes mainly from the recovery in the transverse direction.
