摘要
In this study, the test of reinforced concrete (RC) frames protected with bracing-friction dampers is simulated via a finite element analysis, based on the new connecting method in which a deformed steel bar is passed through a RC frame. Moreover, the influence of the diameter difference of the deformed steel bar on the behaviors of the RC frame and damper is examined. The bar yielded when the diameter of the deformed steel bar was reduced. Therefore, the degree of crack closure in the RC beam after unloading was low, and it was difficult to produce a stable damper axial deformation.
