摘要
This article examines the contemporary American state to show how a mythological nexus compels citizens to participate in the institutional practices of white supremacy, racism, and warfare. The framework enables one to see the power of a mythological nexus in all human communities. This vision of authoritative speech in society may give a polity the skill to reconfigure a mythological nexus through concerted action, potentially bringing an end to warfare and the dominion of subject populations in the world today.
