This paper is devoted to the identification of the heat transfer coefficient between a high temperature glass and a cast iron punch taking radiative effect into account. A 1D numerical thermal model taking the radiative effects into account has been developed to simulate the contact between a punch and a glass cylinder. It was coupled with an inverse identification methodology to determine the heat transfer coefficient using experimental data carried out in the LAMIH. First, the sensitivity of the identification of the heat transfer coefficient with respect to different parameters (initial glass temperature, thermocouple position, radiation) will be introduced. A second part will show the identification of heat transfer coefficient using experimental data taking into account radiative effects. (c) 2023 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
