Reconstruction of large surgical defects on the cheek can be challenging for dermatologic surgeons. We describe using a modified rhomboid flap and Burow's advancement flap to close a surgical defect resulting from the excision of a basal cell carcinoma measuring 10 x 10 cm in the buccomandibular area of the cheek.
