摘要
Cities are in constant development with increasing population densities. This situation creates various problems for planners to ensure the planning and sustainability of cities. The areas where today's people feel the most lack in cities are green. It is essential to plan green spaces, which is one of the most critical factors in increasing the quality of life of people and eliminating the problems that arise. In this study, Emek, Bahcelievler, and Yukari Bahcelievler neighbourhoods of Ankara province cankaya district were selected as the study area, and twelve criteria were determined for the green spaces analysis. The analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method was used to determine the weights of these criteria relative to each other. Geographical information systems (GIS) were used for the location analysis of the criteria. The technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) method was used to determine the order of importance of the most suitable green spaces. In the TOPSIS method, both equally weighted and AHP weighted calculations were made. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the ranking of 44.4% of the nine regions was similar. As a result of the study, it was determined that the area was insufficient in terms of green spaces, and the use of the applied method for sustainable urban models was evaluated.
