Mixed oil detection method based on tapered fiber SPR sensor

摘要
To solve the problem that it is difficult to detect the mixed oil during the sequential transportation of product oil, the tapered fiber SPR sensor is designed to detect the mixed oil samples consisting of four kinds of oil, petrol 90#, petrol 93#, petrol 97#, diesel oil-10#. According to the refractive index range of measured oil and the measuring range of tapered fiber SPR sensor, a scheme to reduce the refractive index of measured oil is designed, and the detection experiments for three kinds of oil samples are completed, including the experiment of single pure oil, mixed samples with different kinds of oil (petrol and diesel oil), mixed samples with different models of oil (petrol). The experimental results show that the tapered fiber SPR sensor can effectively identify the measured mixed oil samples, its work is stable and reliable, and the experimental repeatability is also good, which verify the feasibility of the tapered fiber SPR sensor in mixed oil detection and provide a new method for it.
