center dot Subtalar arthroscopy is useful for a variety of pathologies and adjunctive treatments.center dot The anatomy and approach is more challenging than ankle arthroscopy but, with proper training, can be equally as useful.center dot The foot and ankle surgeon should be mindful of the complex anatomy and potential complications of subtalar arthroscopy.center dot With continued research and training, the foot and ankle surgeon can improve patient outcomes with the use of subtalar arthroscopy.
