The alloying and pressure dependence of the electronic, optical, and mechanical behaviors of lattice-matched AlxIn1-xPySb1-y

摘要
The empirical pseudopotential approach has been used to study the mechanical, optical, and electronic properties of AlxIn1-xPySb1-y alloys lattice-matched to InAs and InP substrates. The response of elastic constants and their related parameters, energy band gaps, electronic band structure, refractive index, and high-frequency and static dielectric constants to pressure has been examined. The findings of our calculations and those of the published data exhibit excellent agreement. Our results can be used as a reference for the experimental work because there aren't many experimental data at high pressure. The studied electronic properties are useful for developing electronic devices.
