摘要
In this paper, a multiband metamaterial absorber for L, S, C, X, and Ku bands is proposed. The proposed unit cell is designed on a low-cost FR-4 substrate and is easy to fabricate. To examine the absorptivity in the multiple frequency bands, the multiband and compact structure is studied and reported. The proposed metamaterial absorber has absorption bands with center frequencies of 1.49 GHz, 2.83 GHz, 3.28 GHz, 4.85 GHz 11.81 GHz, and 13.31 GHz with simulated peak absorptivity of 95, 95, 98, 99, 99, and 99 % respectively.
