With the physical distancing measures , school closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, practitioners are faced with the need to conduct psychological assessments using remotely administered measures. In this regard, the Cognitive Reappraisal Identification Task (CRIT) is a pencil-and-paper emotional regulation task for 9-to 12-year-olds that measures the ability to recognise situational cognitive reappraisals. Analyses of psychometric properties of the instrument in previous studies were adequate. A computerised version has been developed to administer the task remotely. The aim of this paper is to study the psychometric properties of validity and reliability of the computerised version of the TIRC. For this purpose, this version of the task was administered to 106 children and adolescents and analysed for internal consistency and compliance with a set of internal validity criteria. The results showed moderate to good compliance with these criteria, so that its use can be recommended for the assessment of emotional regulation for research purposes.
