摘要
In our quest to train well-rounded STEM students, service learning is often an afterthought in many programs even when institutional level support exists. The lack of appropriate course management platforms and systems also make it difficult for resource strapped schools to venture on their own. Service learning courses often change a student's life experience and expose them to a world of possibilities including, but not limited to transfer learning and leadership skills. In this paper, we explore the possibility of establishing an open to all online non-traditional course management platform, called EnSer, to assist instructors and colleges in engaging STEM students in service learning.
