摘要
A new quadruple perovskite oxide CaCu3Fe2Ru2O12 was synthesized at 10 GPa and 1400 K. The compound crystallizes into an AA ' 3B4O12-type perovskite structure with space group Im3<overline>, where the Ca and Cu ions are 1: 3 ordered at A sites, whereas Fe and Ru ions are disordered at B sites. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurement reveals the charge state formation of CaCu32+Fe23+Ru25+O12. Magnetic measurement shows that ferrimagnetic phase transition occurs at T-C similar to 348 K. Meanwhile, in a high applied magnetic field, a rapid decrease of zero-field-cooled magnetization M-ZFC occurs at low temperatures (T-H), which may be due to spin-reorientation transition. When the applied pressure increases, T-C moves to lower temperatures implying that ferrimagnetic exchange interaction becomes weak, while T-H is almost unchanged. Electrical transport measurement shows that the intrinsic electrical behavior is metallic, which is consistent with the specific heat result.
