摘要
The Westinghouse Global Competency Model has been a fundamental shift in the management and implementation of employee qualifications in Westinghouse global environment. The advanced digital competency system is designed to manage organization knowledge growth through a single, company -wide tool for qualification management, skill analytics, employee training, and knowledge requirements. The implementation of the Global Competency Model has enabled Westinghouse to implement a most effective resource model that ultimately resulted in a significant cost savings in the cost per unit labor, as well as supporting a dramatic improvement on talent onboarding, development, and growth and a transition from reactive knowledge retention to proactive knowledge management. Additionally, the Global Competency Model empowers employees to drive their own technical development, delivers key information to employees based on their qualifications, and forges partnerships across organizations.
