The following five generic names are recommended for conservation: Tetraphyllum Griff. ex C.B. Clarke against Tetraphyllum Hosius & Marck, Steinhauera C. Presl against Steinhauera Gopp., Podozamites against Preissleria, Klukia Racib. against Klukia Andrz. ex Besser, Ficoxylon against Ungerites. The following two species names are recommended for conservation: Pinus pseudostrobus Lindl. against P. pseudostrobus Brongn., Magnolia oblonga (Wall. ex Hook. f. & Thomson) Figlar against M. oblonga M. Chandler. The committee judged the names Notothylacites N.emejc & Pacltova and Notothylites Chitaley & Yawale are not sufficiently alike to be confused and should not be treated as homonyms.
