摘要
This mini review presents an elaborate account on green synthesis, characteristics and the an-tibacterial applications of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs). ZnO NPs grabs attention due to their distinct physical, chemical, and biological properties. Those can be witnessed through their excellent applications in Photothermal therapy, catalysis, optoelectronics, water purification, biosensing, biomedical imaging, drug delivery, antimicrobial utility, etc. As regards the synthesis of ZnO NPs, this work reviewed demand of the economically smart, environmentally compatible, easy and cheap green approach. The characterization of green synthesized nanoparticles using different analytical techniques those are discussed in detail. The antibacterial capacity of ZnO NPs and the mechanisms that bring about the same are also reviewed in detail.
