摘要
The purpose of this study was to examine and compare the implementation of restorative justice between Ecuador and the United States, as well as its implementation in the training studies of law students. To this end, a documentary and bibliographic review of regulations and doctrinal texts related to this topic was carried out. The findings revealed that, despite starting from a common point, each country developed and modified aspects, manuals and regulations according to its sociocultural context and in the same way it was applied to law studies under the contextualization of the country. It was concluded that, regardless of the country, the purpose of restorative justice seeks to achieve effective reconciliation between the victim and the offender. The training of professionals includes research on the subject in analysis and preparation.
