摘要
The increasing efficiency of thermal systems such as heat exchangers, energy renewable devices and electronic cooling systems becomes challenging nowadays among the researchers. There are many investigations reported to improve the thermal performance of such systems. The present work is also aimed to examine the thermal performance on a mixed convection heat transfer in a nanofluid filled inclined porous cavity with isothermal solid block numerically in the presence of magnetic field. The resulting governing equations has been discretized using finite volume method and are solved using SIMPLE algorithm. The computational results has been verified with both numerical and experimental studies. The numerical simulation has been carried out for various range of parameters such as Richardson number, Darcy number, Hartmann number, cavity inclination angle and solid volume fraction of nanoparticles and the obtained results were displayed in terms of streamlines, isotherms, average Nusselt number and mid height velocity profiles. It is observed that the heat transfer rate increases with increases of Ri, Da &phi but decreases with Ha. In addition, the forced convection and conducted dominated regions produces the optimum heat transfer rate with the increasing value of phi.
