摘要
The first neutron texture diffractometer in China was built at the China Advanced Research Reactor (CARR). This neutron texture diffractometer has a high neutron intensity, moderate resolution and a neutron wavelength of 1.48 angstrom, which is suitable for studying the bulk textures in commonly used metals or alloys. The neutron texture diffractometer is now equipped with a two-dimensional position-sensitive detector, high temperature furnace and loading device after several upgrades. Now in-situ texture measurements can be performed on the texture diffractometer. A detailed description of the instrument and its performance characteristics are presented in this paper.
