摘要
Increasing bacterial resistance has led to the aggravation of diseases caused by microbial infections, posing a significant threat to human health. The multicascade approach is more efficient than a single treatment for resistant bacteria. Here, we describe the simple method of fabricating CoSe2 nanoparticles, which operate as a single-component, multienzyme-mimicking nanoplatform for multiple ROS production. The nanoplatform simultaneously exhibits multi enzymatic activities that mimic intrinsic catalase, peroxidase, and oxidase. Furthermore, under the synergistic action of 808 nm NIR, the multienzyme cascade action and ROS produced by photodynamics play a stronger role against drug-resistant extended-spectrum beta-lactamase-producing Escherichia coli. Therefore, this study reveals the potential of CoSe2 nanoparticles as efficient antimicrobial reagents, providing a promising alternative nanozyme for biomedical use.
