摘要
Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) is a pedagogical approach that leverages intercultural learning through digital technology with others around the world. Nurse practitioner (NP) and other advanced practice nursing students and faculty from Thailand and the United States partnered to implement a COIL project for an evidence-based practice (EBP) course. Retrospective presurvey and postsurvey results indicated that student EBP knowledge and behavior change improved after the COIL activities. Responses to open-ended questions revealed the COIL experience was meaningful and valued by student participants. COIL offers an approach for NP education to be more globally engaged and culturally aware.(c) 2022 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
