摘要
This letter presents a novel phase inverter (PI)design and its application in a magic-T based on substrate-integrated coaxial lines (SICLs). The novel SICL PI and itsderivative magic-T are proposed for the first time. A transitionbetween the feeding SMA and the SICL is also developed formeasurement purposes. The proposed SICL PI is measured tohave a fractional bandwidth (FBW) of 92.3% with its phasedeviation (PD) less than 15 degrees. The applied magic-T achievesa measured FBW of 67% under the amplitude and phaseimbalances less than 1 dB and 15 degrees, respectively. Experimentsare conducted, and good agreements between the measured andsimulated data are observed.
