On wave-breaking for the two-component Fornberg-Whitham system

This paper is concerned with the Cauchy problem of the two-component Fornberg-Whitham system, which does not have the L2-norm conservation law of the component u. We establish two new results of wave-breaking to this system by using the sign preservation of P, the L1-norm conservation law of P and a priori estimate for the L2-norm of u.(c) 2022 Elsevier Inc.
