Channel for Simultaneous Formation of Neutrino and Antineutrino Beams at the U-70 Accelerator Complex

摘要
The principle optical scheme of the channel for the simultaneous formation of neutrino and antineutrino beams on the basis of the accelerator complex U-70 is considered. The main estimated characteristics of neutrino beams in the far detector at a distance of 2595 km from the end of the decay region of the channel, as well as the parameters of the parent p +/- mesons at the beginning of the decay region are discussed. The calculation scheme was used where the sources of muon neutrinos and antineutrinos are only the decays of pi(+/-) mesons.
