Household spiders (Arachnida: Araneae) of Kashmir Himalayas with three new records from India

Parasteatoda tepidariorum, Plexippus paykulli, Scotophaeus goaensis, Steatoda triangulosa and Tegenaria domestica are reported from Kashmir Himalayas. Detailed illustrations of their external morphology and genitalia are presented along with a map showing their collection localities. This paper serves as the first taxonomic evidence of three spider species (P. tepidariorum, S. triangulosa, and T. domestica) from India.
