摘要
The functionalities of the different networks allow real-time and deferred collaboration and dissemination of academic and scientific information. The aim of this study was to determine the trend in the use of social networks in relation to the academic environment, and to evaluate the influence of a specific teaching-learning program applied through the social network Instagram on university students. This study follows a descriptive cross-sectional design and, subsequently, a quasi-experimental design of pre-post test measures in which teachers posted infographics for 8 weeks. A total of 120 students (22.13 +/- 2.83 years) participated in the study. Among the results, the profiles created helped participants contact experts, improve academic aspects related to their professional career and facilitate exchange of notes. To conclude, Instagram seems adequate, improving aspects related to the degree they study.
