摘要
In this study, the dynamic behavior of additively manufactured Ti6Al4V lattice-based BCC structures is studied by varying the strut diameter and applying a standard heat treatment. While the heat treatment does not seem to affect the mechanical performance, the experimental results show a strong dependence between the strut diameter, the strength, toughness and failure mode of the lattice. The higher the strut diameter, the higher the strength but the lower the maximum failure strain. The fracture mode is more ductile in smaller diameters with a more homogeneous deformation.
