摘要
In this paper, the nonlinear optical properties of a hybrid system composed of metal nanoparticles (MNP) and Zigzag quantum wells (ZQWs) is discussed. A controlled laser field is applied to induced dipole moments in MNP and ZQWs, the induced dipole moment produced by the hybrid system transforms the energy interval and the spontaneous decay rate of ZQWs. The energy level and wave function of ZQWs in the hybrid system is obtained by employing finite difference method. The analytical expressions of optical absorption coefficients (OACs) and refractive index changes (RICs) are acquired through the method of the compact density matrix method and iterative approach. The outcomes reveal that the nonlinear optical properties of the hybrid system are modulated by the size of MNP and the center-to-center distance between MNP and ZQWs.
