摘要
Discussion of the differences between Developmental Coordination Disorder and Developmental Dyspraxia allowed in Switzerland to identify a complementarity of viewpoints, concretely facilitating access to diagnosis, assessment, and intervention for children and their families, but also creating culture around the importance of motor functions for development, learning, and quality of life. Through targeted and individualized intervention, acting on deficit functions, activities of daily living, and modifications in the environment, children with a Developmental Coordination Disorder can feel competent and gain access to a good quality of life.
