Fabrication and Tuning the Structural and Dielectric Characteristics of PS/SiO2/SrTiO3 Hybrid Nanostructures for Nanoelectronics and Energy Storage Devices

摘要
The current work objects to synthesize of silicon dioxide(SiO2) and strontium titanate(SrTiO3) nanostructures doped polystyrene(PS) as a promising nanostructures to apply for pressure sensors and nanoelectronics devices with low cost and excellent chemical and physical characteristics compared of other nano-materials. The structure and dielectric characteristics of PS/SiO2/SrTiO3 nanostructures were explored. The structural properties included FTIR, FE-SEM and OM. The dielectric properties tested at frequency(f) ranged(from 100 Hz to 5 MHz). The structural characteristics results of PS/SiO2/SrTiO3 nanostructures showed good incorporation between PS matrix and SiO2/SrTiO3 additive. The results of dielectric characteristics indicated that rise in the dielectric parameters of PS with an increase in the SiO2/SrTiO3 content. The dielectric parameters of PS/SiO2/SrTiO3 nanostructures altered with an increase in the frequency. The dielectric constant(epsilon') and electrical conductivity of PS/SiO2/SrTiO3 nanostructures enhanced about 38.1% and 52.6% with rise in the SiO2/SrTiO3 content to 6.4 wt.%. The dielectric loss(epsilon") values ranged from 0.1 to 0.21 at 100 Hz, this performance means that the PS/SiO2/SrTiO3 nanostructures have excellent possibility for energy storage with low loss in various nanoelectronics applications like sensors, capacitors, piezoelectric and other fields. The results of pressure sensors indicated that the PS/SiO2/SrTiO3 nanostructures have good pressure sensitivity at pressure range from 80 to 160 bar with low loss and lightweight.
