摘要
This publication summarizes the development of an active transmit radiator array in Ka-band. The array consists of a modular passive frontend and an active part with solid state power amplifiers (SSPAs). The passive frontend has been manufactured utilizing modern manufacturing techniques to facilitate the integration of future very large array antennas. The active part has a high integration density of RF components also including high-power amplifiers (HPAs) inside the SSPA. Key antenna performance parameters, including return loss, port-to-port isolation, and radiation behavior, were measured.
