摘要：

The article examines the scientific and creative activity of A.A. Bodalev, the creator of a unique scientific school aimed at studying the patterns, mechanisms and phenomena that determine people's perception, cognition and understanding of each other, communication, interaction, relationships in different sociocultural conditions, contexts and situationP. The article emphasizes that the ideas presented in the works of A.A. Bodalev significantly influenced the formation of the subject field of the domestic psychology. It attempts to create a collective portrait of the personality of an outstanding scientist and organizer of Russian science and psychological practice.
