摘要
Maturity level models offer organizations the alternative to measure and compare their initiatives in several aspects, they indicate the current level in which the organization is and describe the route to follow from its current status. That is why there is a great variety of maturity models for different areas, among them we find Knowledge Management. The article aims to measure the maturity level of knowledge management in an innovative organization based on knowledge, for which a model was designed inspired by the proposals of Teah, Pee & Kankanhalli (2006), Montanez-Carrillo et al. (2016) and Arias-Perez, Tavera-Mesias & Castano-Serna (2016). The model consists of a five -level scale: Initial, Conscious, Defined, Managed and Optimized; with which the key areas of knowledge were measured: Strategy, People/Organization, Processes and Technology. The model was applied in the Corporation of Science and Technology for the Development of the Naval, Maritime and Fluvial Industry - Cotecmar, where it was revealed as a global result that knowledge management is at the managed level. The measurements of its key areas were also known: Strategy, Processes and Technology at the managed level, and People/Organization at the defined level. The results obtained are the starting point for Cotecmar to develop a path of activities aimed at scaling knowledge management to the Optimized level, thus achieving automatic integration with all corporate processes.
