摘要
The advancement of nursing as a discipline hinges on robust scientific production, underscoring the imperative to foster the generation of new knowledge. This manuscript aims to meticulously characterize the landscape of undergraduate theses within a nursing program at a prominent private university in southern Colombia, thereby elucidating future research perspectives. Employing a bibliometric documentary approach, we scrutinized the research output of nursing students, analyzing 113 theses conducted from 2017 to 2021. The majority of these scholarly works delved into the realms of hospitalized patient care and interactions with healthcare professionals. Situated within established nursing models and theories, there was a notable emphasis on the paradigm of Dorothea Orem. The thematic focus revolved around critical areas such as quality in healthcare delivery and the acquisition of health-related knowledge.
