摘要
In this paper, as a pulse compression method considering the dispersion of the Lamb wave by airborne ultrasound excitation, we proposed and verified the pulse compression method for the Lamb wave of using a step-chirp signal based on the dispersion curve. The results showed that the short pulse of the guide wave propagating in the sample can be realized by applying pulse compression. In future work, we will study the waveform length of the chirp signal to which pulse compression can be applied and reduce the effect of pulse compression on the Lamb wave in the scattered state. ©2023 The Acoustical Society of Japan.
