摘要
Density and absolute viscosity were measured for fourbinary mixturescomposed by ethylene glycol diethyl ether and 1-alkanol (1-propanolto 1-hexanol). The measurements were carried out at 0.1 MPa and atfour temperatures between 293.15 and 323.15 K. The density for thepure fluids and mixtures was correctly modeled with a perturbed chain-statisticalassociating fluid theory equation of state (PC-SAFT EoS). On the otherhand, free volume theory combined with the equation of state was ableto correctly model the absolute viscosity for all mixtures. The Redlich-Kistermodel was successfully applied in the correlation of derived propertiesas deviation in viscosity and excess volume. Also, the molecular interactionswere studied from PC-SAFT EoS and the results of the excess volume.
