摘要
Adrian works at Santa Cruz's peer respite house, 2nd Story. He has worked side by side with NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness) families and provider organizations. His own narrative in this article is about the chances and multiple chances of living through internal and external hell. This message is an understanding of growing in the world without a solid foundation, discerning that a function of postyouth is to find tools within to form solid ground. The old ways follow truer still, the greater the agony, the greater the freedom. These words offer a key to break free from various and varying societal confines. Adrian has never studied the psychological lens; thus, he draws only from direct experience and personal understanding, leaving no references to name. Working closely with people, while listening to uncountable life stories, has informed the nature of this article. The use of the word "We " challenges many. If "We " applies to the reader, welcome. If not, enjoy the ride.
